Why Shred
TopShred carry out confidential and secure shredding, either at your site or by collection. We can handle one-off jobs, triggered by office moves and relocations - or we can set up a planned collection schedule, ensuring that you always stay on top of things.
Our mobile shredders can operate almost anywhere at your site. To avoid disturbance, we can call out of office hours, and the shredder is insulated to minimise noise.
We can handle all sorts of confidential materials, including uniforms, badges, credit cards and design prototypes!
We'll provide you with a Certificate of Destruction on completion, so that you have a record for your due diligence procedures. And you'll know that there's no chance of anything going astray, as you'll have seen the whole process from start to finish.
The Untha shredder handles anything! Our self-contained Untha shredder is mounted on a MAN lorry chassis, allowing it access to almost any part of your site. It is self contained and requires no external power supply. It only needs an operating area of around 5m x 10m in which to park and operate. It's fully insulated to limit noise generation. The shredder has a capacity of up to 1000kg / hour, so it will make short work of whatever you need shredding.

Our pricing is highly competitive, and we'll give you a fixed price for the job in advance or we can invoice per kg shredded.
Collection or On-Site Shredding
We can collect your materials and shred them at our site near Wrexham, or shred them at your site - this way, you can avoid confidential materials ever having to leave your site. Either way, you'll get a Certificate of Destruction confirming the date and time of destruction. If required, we can supply a sample of the destroyed material for your reference. You'll have the reassurance of complete security.
How We Shred
TopShred competely destroy anything you give us. We use an Untha 4-shaft shredder which shreds in all dimensions - meaning that anything that goes in becomes unrecognisable and can't be put together again, no matter how long someone might try.
Certificate of Destruction
On completion of the job you will receive a Certificate of Destruction, confirming the date and time of destruction. We can also supply a sample of the destroyed material for your reference.
Our People
Tom Gilruth(Director)oversees all operations. Our staff are permanent employees - we don't use any contract or agency staff. Our team are CRB checked and vetted to BS7858.
Standards of Operations
All shredding (including paper shredding) is carried out in compliance with EN15713:2009 Our precision-built Untha shredders make short work of rendering your confidential documents completely illegible. And we can also destroy many other items that have a security value - we can shred all of the following:
